The 2nd Allianz Startup Challenge finalists are ready. Get to know them.
Barça Innovation Hub and Allianz are pleased to announce the finalists of the 2nd Allianz Startup Challenge. This competition brings together the most promising startups from around the world to compete for the chance to collaborate with the club and win a prize to support their projects economically.
After a rigorous selection process, the following startups have been selected as finalists:
Omashu: they offer a comprehensive service that accredits the correct transfer and value forecasting of esports players, both at the professional and amateur levels by using blockchain technology and machine learning.
YBVR: it offers the next generation of immersive broadcasting, with technologies allowing sharper, smoother, more interactive VR video experiences.
PickleTech: they provide advanced analytics solutions to help organizations improve decision-making, automation, and profitability using data and scientific expertise.
Svexa: Svexa’s algorithms and software provide a unique integration of sports training load and recovery data with biological profiles.
Sweanty: specialized in the study of the composition of sweat and its effects on health and well-being, the company is currently focused on the development of two products, a patch for the detection of Cystic Fibrosis and a system for analyzing the hydration status of athletes.
Evix: company aiming at reducing the number of injured people on the road, and for this reason, they have created a cervical airbag system that protects the neck of the user.
Along with the opportunity to present their project at the STC 23 Main Theater, the winning startup will receive a prize package that includes mentorship from the club’s innovation team and a check worth 5,000 euros delivered by Allianz.

In the words of Johan Cruyff, “Players, in reality, have the ball for 3 minutes, on average. So, the most important thing is: what do you do during those 87 minutes when you do not have the ball? That is what determines whether you’re a good player or not.”
CATEGORY: MEDICINE HEALTH AND WELLNESS SPORTS PERFORMANCE
Muscle injuries account for more than 30% of all injuries in sports like soccer. Their significance is therefore enormous in terms of training sessions and lost game time.
